Hospice Foundation

In working with foundations, our objective is to develop mutually beneficial relationships that further the goals of both organizations.

The Hospice Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) Type II supporting organization for Center for Hospice Care. With the generous support of individuals, corporations and private foundations, Hospice Foundation works to support quality of living and those with life-limiting illnesses throughout the eight-county area served by CHC.

Center for Hospice Care has provided compassionate, quality care for more than 20,000 patients since admitting its first patient in January 1980. By annualized numbers, CHC ranks in the top 5% of all hospice programs in the United States.

We are also committed to our partnership with the Palliative Care Association of Uganda (PCAU) to make access to palliative care available to all Ugandans. Working with Global Partners in Care (formerly FHSSA) and with the financial support of CHC employees who have donated to our Uganda Impact Fund, we are able to support PCAU’s work in education, building sustainable infrastructure and outreach into all areas of Uganda.
